First Tuesday December 2025 | A Battle-Ready Believer First TuesdayEphesians 4:11-16
📖 Ephesians 1:3 ESV Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.
📖 Ephesians 6:12 ESV For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
A battle-ready depends on a well-ordered .
1. In the battle, is .
📖 Ephesians 4:4–6 ESV There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
📖 Galatians 3:27–28 ESV For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Spiritual are won in , not in .
2. In the battle, individual are .
📖 Ephesians 4:7 ESV But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift.
📖 Ephesians 4:7 NLT However, he has given each one of us a special gift through the generosity of Christ.
📖 Ephesians 4:8–10 ESV Therefore it says, “When he ascended on high he led a host of captives, and he gave gifts to men.” 9 (In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower regions, the earth? 10 He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.)
📖 Acts 2:33 ESV Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing.
3. In the battle, is .
📖 Ephesians 4:11 ESV And He gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers.
📖 Acts 2:42 ESV And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
📖 2 Timothy 4:5 ESV As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
📖 Ephesians 4:11 ESV And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers.
📖 2 Timothy 3:16 ESV All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.
Every is actually a .
4. In the battle, every is a .
📖 Ephesians 4:12 ESV To equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.
A. Leaders are not given to the church—they’re given to it.
B. Saints aren’t called to ministry—they’re called to ministry.
C. Readiness doesn’t come from —it comes from .
📖 Ephesians 4:14–16 ESV So that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
