Part 1 | The Last Days of the Last Days

SERIES THEME: We know about His first arrival, but are we ready for His second coming? The Lord told us to be fully aware of what will happen toward the end of the age. And on the heels of Easter weekend, we can’t think of a better topic that the return of Jesus Christ. But what is going to be happening around His return? Are we seeing the last days right now? How should we live? What should I know as a Christ-follower to be ready? Find the answers and be at peace with the “Last Days”.

What to before :

📖 Mark 13:5-6 (ESV) And Jesus began to say to them, “See that no one leads you astray. 6 Many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and they will lead many astray.”

📖 Mark 13:7-8 (ESV) And when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. This must take place, but the end is not yet. 8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

📖 Mark 13:9-10 (ESV) “But be on your guard. For they will deliver you over to councils, and you will be beaten in synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them. 10 And the gospel must first be proclaimed to all nations.”

📖 Mark 11:12-14 (ESV) On the following day, when they came from Bethany, he was hungry. 13 And seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to see if he could find anything on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs. 14 And he said to it, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard it.

: Israel was restored to the land as a nation in history. 

📖 Isaiah 11:9b (ESV) for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. 

📖 Isaiah 11:10 (ESV) In that day the root of Jesse, who shall stand as a signal for the peoples—of Him shall the nations inquire, and His resting place shall be glorious. 11 In that day the Lord will extend His hand yet a second time to recover the remnant that remains of His people, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the coastlands of the sea.

📖 Isaiah 66:7-8 (ESV) Before she was in labor she gave birth; before her pain came upon her she delivered a son. 8 Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor she brought forth her children.”

📖 Jeremiah 16:14-15 (ESV) the days are coming, declares the LORD, when it shall no longer be said, ‘As the LORD lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’ 15 but ‘As the LORD lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the north country and out of all the countries where he had driven them.’ For I will bring them back to their own land that I gave to their fathers.

📖 Mark 13:28 (ESV) “From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near.”

📖 Mark 13:29-30 (ESV)  “So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that He is near, at the very DOOR. 30 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.”
