Compassion Weekend

Today is Compassion Weekend— a time set apart to change the future for children living in poverty around the world.  SCRIPTURE IS CLEAR. We are serving God when we serve the poor. We are ‘loving our neighbor’, honoring and caring for ‘the least of these.’ Now is the time to listen to God’s call and serve Him as He leads us by turning a child’s dream into a reality and by helping to release them from poverty in Jesus’ name. 

📖 Matthew 10:42 (ESV) And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.”

📖 Galatians 6:10 (ESV) So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
